You can personalise almost any Mahlia Interiors design by changing the colour, dimensions, pattern, hardware or configuration—or work with us to create something entirely new.

Giving careful consideration to your space, aesthetic and lifestyle, we’ll help you determine the ideal form, colour, shape and size of your custom bone or mother-of-pearl inlay piece.

Make It Uniquely Yours

Depending on the design, you may be able to:

  • Choose your preferred colour
  • Adjust the height, width or depth
  • Select bone inlay or mother of pearl
  • Change the inlay pattern or choose a reverse-inlay design
  • Select different handles, knobs, legs or feet
  • Modify the arrangement of drawers, doors or shelving
  • Recreate an existing Mahlia Interiors piece in your own combination of finishes

You’re welcome to send us photographs of your room, measurements, colour samples or inspiration images. We’ll work with you to refine the design and prepare a tailored quote.

How Long Will My Custom Order Take?

Most custom orders are airfreighted and take approximately eight weeks from the date your deposit is paid.

In some cases, your piece may be sent by container freight. Container orders generally take approximately 10–16 weeks from the date your deposit is paid.

These are estimated timeframes, as every piece is individually handcrafted and international freight schedules can occasionally vary. We’ll confirm the expected production and delivery method when preparing your quote and keep you updated throughout the process.

Your custom piece will be meticulously handcrafted by our talented artisans in India using traditional inlay techniques. Subtle variations in colour, pattern placement, texture and finish are natural characteristics of handmade furniture—and part of what makes each piece truly unique.
