Prior to ordering Mahlia Interior products, please read these Terms and Conditions, as these are subject to change without notice.
All prices listed on the Mahlia Interiors website are in Australian dollars, and are inclusive of 10% GST. Payment can be made online using credit card or PayPal. Products will not be dispatched until the entire payment has been received by Mahlia Interiors.
Please note that the pricing and information on our website and social media is subject to change without notice. In the event that a product is incorrectly priced on our website or social media, due to a typographical or supplier error, Mahlia Interiors has the right to cancel orders placed where product prices were listed incorrectly. In this case where you have been notified, you have the right to either accept the new price or cancel your order made.
Cancelling an Order
We must be contacted within 4 hour of purchase, if you would like to cancel your order. Cancellations of orders are not permitted if an order has been placed with our supplier or if the item has been dispatched. If we're notified within the 4 hour window, we are happy to refund the amount, less the processing fee's charged through our payment systems.
If we are notified after 4 hours, you'll be offered store credit for the amount paid - whether this be for the full amount of a deposit payment. For any custom orders, these cannot be refunded and you cannot receive a store credit for these.
When your item is confirmed at checkout, Mahlia Interiors will process your order followed by you receiving an email with both your invoice and order confirmation details.
Mahlia Interiors cannot guarantee the delivery time of your items, however will provide estimates as accurate as possible. We are not liable or responsible for any items that have been lost due to incorrectly entered postal details.
We also cannot offer refunds for delayed products due to shipment delays, port delays, Covid-19 delays, or any further delays that are outside our control.
Mahlia Interiors website may contain typographical errors or inaccurate information due to the website not yet being updated. However Mahlia Interiors will not provide any warranties in relation to the reliability, content or accuracy of the information or material on the website, social media or other platforms. Mahlia Interiors will not accept any liability for damage or injury that may be caused by the use or misuse of products purchased from us, and those imposed by the statue of the Trade Practices Act 1974. Mahlia Interiors will accept no liability for any loss, including consequential loss suffered by you that may have arisen from the services and/or items we have supplied you with. The maximum liability for any order supplied to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise will not exceed the amount payable by you to Mahlia Interiors in respect of the order and products in question.
Mahlia Interiors will not be held liable for any damages, claims, actions, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with your use of this website or any other website that may be linked to this Mahlia Interiors website.
You must provide all the accurate personal information about yourself, and be truthful in all dealings with Mahlia Interiors. Accurate information may include postal address, full name, email address, home number, mobile number, work number, credit card or PayPal details, and any other details provided in the checkout and purchase process. It is your responsibility only to provide Mahlia Interiors with all of the correct information.
Mahlia Interiors is committed to your privacy, and will only collect your information for internal use only and we will not sell or trade any of your personal information. Mahlia Interiors may share your personal information with third parties such as suppliers or delivery companies, for example. We may collect your full name, delivery address, email address, telephone number, and mobile number during your item purchase. This information may be used for the process of shipping the orders, to update you on the shipping process, to provide you with any relevant order information. Where you subscribe your email to our database, we may use this information to send out promotional and advertising information by email, mail or on social media. You may unsubscribe from any mailing lists at any time. Please contact email@example.com if you have any questions, or you believe your privacy may have been breached.
All information that has been collected will be stored safely and securely, by restricting access to this personal information. No credit card details are stored on file, and credit card numbers are only used at the time of processing the payment and order. As above, these Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time.
Mahlia Interiors offers delivery Australia-wide, and can also offer international delivery depending on the location. Please contact Mahlia Interiors for international delivery options.
Once orders have been collated, the standard delivery timeframe is between 2-18 weeks but will vary based on the product and product's location. If you have ordered a larger piece of furniture, such as chests of drawers or console tables, these require very careful packaging in crates to ensure your delicate inlay furniture will not be damaged in transit.
Our inlay furniture delivery service includes a ground floor, one man delivery to your home in a crate. For ground floor homes, your delivery will be taken into the front door of your home. For front doors that are accessed via stairs, your delivery will be taken to the ground floor only and not up any stairs. We recommend that, if possible, you have someone else available to assist you with taking the items inside your home, unpack and position your piece/s in your home. If you do require your piece to be taken into your home and upstairs, please kindly contact us to arrange further options and we will happily arrange this with you at a cost. We do have this Premium Furniture delivery option for $149 but this is only available in Metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Gold Coast. We are always available to be contacted for options on this, that best suit your needs!
We pride ourselves in offering high quality pieces at reasonable pricing, so that more customers can experience the feeling of beautiful inlay pieces being in their homes. Our free delivery pricing does not include delivery upstairs, unwrapping of your piece, or positioning of your piece inside your home for this reason. Our delivery team can help with any of these to their own discretion and time, but this is not included in our service.
If there are any further services required for delivery, please feel free to contact us at any time prior to the delivery of your inlay piece/s and we will happily assist with options at your cost.
Handmade Bone Inlay and Mother of Pearl Inlay
All Mahlia Interiors inlay products are handmade, and hence each product may slightly differ from another. Whilst the aim is for consistency, some inlay pieces may have slight flaws or differ from the images displayed on Mahlia Interiors site or social media, but like any handmade piece this adds to the unique beauty of the new product in your home.
Please note that we do not generally consider minor variations in colour, dimensions or finish to be faults or flaws.
Mahlia Interiors will not be responsible for, or offer refunds, for:
(A) insignificant minor imperfections or superficial blemishes, as this is the nature of the product;
(B) damage, wear and tear as a result of improper or lack of maintenance and/or care, or naturally occurring wear and tear over time;
(C) insignificant minor variations in dimensions, colour, grain or finish;
(E) damages arising after the product has been unpacked, or during your own handling and transportation;
Colours of products
Mahlia Interiors take a lot of care in providing customers with accurate descriptions and images of the colours of products, however there may be reasons why the colour of the inlay products may appear slightly different to what appears on the computer, tablet or mobile screen. This may include the colour and brightness of computer screens slightly differing, or Mahlia Interiors inlay products being handmade and therefore may differ slightly for this reason, or the item is custom made and the customer-selected colour differs slightly to what the customer receives. The best solution for this is to provide a sample of the colour when ordering the custom-made product.
Mahlia Interiors will not refund due to a variation in the colour of products received, given the nature of inlay products being handmade.
Mahlia Interiors can offer payment plans for customers. If Mahlia Interiors and the customer have agreed on a scheduled payment plan, we do no offer refunds for change of mind. We will require a 50% deposit to accept the order, and the product will only be despatched when the final payment has been received.
